FAQ
Specification
A.Yes, it is a type of handlebar grip twist. It is a type of half twist throttle, where the right half of the right hand grip is fixed and the left half is the throttle.
A.The weight is 140 kg
A.The seat is sloped, 80cm at the lowest point (single-seat portion) and 82cm at the highest point (double-seat portion). The recommended height is 155-190cm.
A.S1-350, S1-600, S1-1000, S1-1000R models come with bicycle pedals. It is also possible to ride like a bicycle without using electric power.
A.The frame is made of aluminum.
A.To increase the stability and longevity of the frame, the S1 is not foldable.
A.The area around the electrical equipment is IP54, a waterproof and dustproof level. This waterproof level is equivalent to major electric assist bicycles on the market, and normal riding in the rain is not a problem.
A.The power is turned on and off with a button on the handlebars, not with a metal key inserted like on a regular motorcycle. The battery itself has a theft-prevention key, and the key is used to remove the battery from the bike. A remote control key with a vibration sensor alarm is also available as an option for enhanced security.
A.The range of the S1-350 (electrically assisted model) is equivalent to that of a standard electric assist bicycle. When running in Mode 1, where the electric assist is effective up to 10 km/h, the range is about 70 km. In Mode 3, which is a little more powerful, the range is 40 km, and in Mode 5, which is the most powerful, the range is 30 km. The range will vary depending on driving conditions.
A.The display or battery is equipped with a USB port.
A.A center stand can not be attached.
A.The maximum speed has increased from 55 km/h to 65 km/h, and the motor, tire wheels, controller, and brake discs have become larger. This has resulted in an increase in the general body weight.
A.It is possible.
A.The VIN is stamped on the front of the bike frame (near the back of the headlight).
A.Yes, an AC adapter charger is included.
A.Tires can be changed. On-road tires are available as an option on our website.
A.Yes, all security parts such as direction indicators and taillights are included.
A.The S1-350 electric-assist type brake is mechanical; the S1-600 and S1-1000 brakes are hydraulic.
A.Suspension is provided on the front and rear wheels.
A.The weight of the vehicle will be around 35 kg, but it has 7-speed gears, so it can be driven on flat roads without problems.
A.Tires are 20 inches in diameter and 4 inches wide. Tires are tubular.
A.Tire tube valves are U.S. (American) style. They are used in bicycles such as mountain bikes and cross bikes, as well as in cars and motorcycles, and can be inflated at gas stations.
A.Yes, it does. The PSE sticker is on the product.
A.The battery should be charged by connecting the supplied charger to a household outlet. The battery is removable so it can be charged anywhere; one charger cannot be used to charge multiple batteries at the same time.
A.When two batteries are loaded, they are consumed together. The batteries are used as one battery with twice the capacity. However, the batteries themselves are equipped with an On/Off switch, which can be used to turn off one battery on each side.
Performance
A.Higher voltage increases maximum speed and torque. For the same current, the higher voltage provides more power; a 60V electric bike is generally more powerful than a 48V electric bike.
A.The voltage of the S1-350 is 36V. This is because electric assist does not require a large voltage because the assist function stops when the speed reaches 24 km/h.
A.The regenerative brake function is not provided. We have determined that it is not suitable for use as an electrically power assisted bicycle or a bicycle with a regenerative brake.
A.The uphill speed of the S1-600 and S1-1000 is equivalent to a 50cc engine scooter.
A.It is possible, but it involves changing the controller depending on the type of motor and wattage.
A.The batteries of S1-600 and S1-1000 are 60V 15Ah, so they have a capacity of 900wh. Since the Tokyo Electric Power Company charges approximately 26 yen per 1000W, a simple calculation shows that 900Wh / 1000Wh x 26 yen equals approximately 24 yen. Add to this some loss of charging from the outlet.
A.Battery deterioration depends on various factors such as temperature and number of charge cycles, so we do not disclose specific indicators. If a battery is clearly defective within 100 charge cycles, it will be replaced under warranty.
A.The battery is affected by temperature. In midwinter, the maximum speed and cruising range may drop by 10-20%.
A.The range of the S1-600 and S1-1000 is measured in full electric mode at a speed of about 30 km/h. It may vary slightly depending on driving methods, driving conditions, and temperature.
A.The drive system consists of a motor, battery, controller and display. The motor itself can be changed as long as it is compatible with the controller. It is also possible to replace the motor, controller, and display with parts made by other manufacturers. However, these changes are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
A.The maximum speed varies depending on the driver's weight, temperature, road incline, road surface conditions, battery charge status, tire type and air pressure, and other factors. Especially in midsummer and midwinter, battery performance varies by 10-20%, which affects the maximum speed.
Bike Assembly
A.The S1 is partially disassembled for packaging in cardboard after it is completed at the factory and tested for electrical and driving systems. Specifically, the front tire is removed, and the handlebar and other parts are not fixed. If you are not confident about assembling the bike, we recommend that you ask someone who is familiar with the assembly process, or consult with our affiliated partners, or your local bicycle store or bike store.
A.The size of the cardboard is 148 cm (L) x 70 cm (H) x 37 cm (W). Please allow for slight size changes.
A.Once completed and inspected, the bike is disassembled for packing. Assembly itself is not difficult, but if you are unsure, please ask a contractor to assemble it for you.
A.Yes, you can. We can assemble the bike and deliver it to you, or you can ask one of our partners in your area to assemble it for you. However, there is an additional charge for assembly (from 6,600 yen including tax). Also, the shipping cost differs between delivery in cardboard boxes and delivery of a finished product.

A.The rear tire is deflated for packaging reasons. Please be sure to fill it with air before riding.
A.The front indicator connector is connected to the opposite side. Please reconnect them.
A.The brakes may be tightened. Please widen the brake pads on both sides with something like a trowel to make room for the disc.
A.The license plate is integrated with the taillight and attached to the body or rear carrier. If the license plate is facing upward, please lower it by hand in the desired direction.
A.If your bike has a rear carrier or backrest, please mount it behind the rear carrier or backrest. If there is no rear carrier or the like, attach it to the frame of the bike.
A.The seat is held in place by six screws. The rear two screws are shared with the screws on the controller box, so loosening the screws on the front side of the controller will make it easier to insert the seat screws.
A.The rear carrier and backrest are secured with a total of six bolts, three on each side. First, temporarily fasten the six bolts and then gradually tighten each bolt. It is necessary to insert the bolts while pushing and bending the frame on the carrier side somewhat.
